Tracking Technologies used on the Site & Email Messages

RedHouse uses multiple analytics solutions to track the visitors' information, which include duration of visits, browser versions and referrals. "Web Beacon" is a tracking technology we use on our sites and email messages.

A "Web Beacon" is a small string code that provides a method for delivering a graphic image on a Web page or in an email message for the purpose of transferring data. For example, when a user visits a page on a Web site, the code for the page being visited may include the instructions to go to another server to gather a single pixel graphic image (a Web Beacon). The server providing this Web Beacon may be controlled by the Web site being visited, or by another party that has been given permission to place the Web Beacon on the site.

Frequently, the Web Beacon is designed to blend into the background of the page visited. Web Beacons can be used to generate a "log file" record or to deliver cookies or downloadable applications.

RedHouse writes own customize script to track email opens, click through on hyperlinks in email messages and activities of recipients when leaving the email messages (for example, filling of online survey form). We utilize tracking in both of our own promotion email message and clients email blast campaigns.

The followings are the detailed descriptions on the email tracking utilized by RedHouse:

1. Email Open rate/no of opens
   This is to determine our recipients open the email message and to ensure the recipients get the correct email message. A "Web beacon" is use to determine the email opens.
    
   
2. Email Clickthrough
   This is to determine if our recipients clicked on a URL in the email message. This is for us to determine the effectiveness about our products and services promotion campaign and also helping our clients and affiliates to make marketing decisions based on the click through.
    
   
3. Email Response Rate
   This is to determine the activities recipients do when clicking the link contained in the message and directed to an external web page. Through the GIF image on the web page, and the email cookie specific to the campaign, we may know whether you visit certain pages on our or our clients' websites.
